The office manager will enter all known new client information into the system prior to the initial consultation, including the dates and visits discussed for the first sitting period. Within 24 hours of the initial consultation, you will receive an email from Leashtime with your login name and a temporary password, which you can keep or change. Please email us
if you do not receive this email within 24 hours of your consultation. Leashtime will guide you through the first time you log in, but we ask that all new clients do the following:
1) Log in to your account, and take a brief tour.
2) On the Home page, check your schedule to make sure that it is accurate, and make any necessary changes via the change button
3) Go to the profile page, and change any information that is incomplete or incorrect:
a. Double-check that your best contact number is included and marked in the circle, as this is the number we will text or call to get in touch
b. Make sure pet information is complete and accurate
c. Finally, fill in the emergency contact section with the contact information of someone with access to your home, mainly in case of inclement weather i.e. snow will not allow us to physically get into your neighborhood, and a pet needs a potty break and feeding
d. Be sure to hit “submit change request” button at the top or bottom of the page
4) Please ignore the account page, as we do not use Leashtime for billing
5) Any emails you receive from Leashtime are automated, and direct replies to those emails will not reach our office. If you have questions or conflicts with any Leashtime notification, please email us directly
Once you have completed these steps, we will get a notification, and you will be registered to use Leashtime for all of your pet sitting needs.
- Existing clients - daily and weekday sits
The office manager will set up a recurring visit schedule for the days of the week and times you have requested. This schedule will roll over on a weekly basis, so you do not need to log in to schedule sits each week, unless you need to make a change to your weekly schedule.
If you do need to make a change to your schedule, please use the following process:
For one-time changes to your schedule for visits between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM:
To add or cancel a visit, please do so via Leashtime as soon as possible, up through 8:00 AM on the day of service. If you need to add a visit after 8:00 AM, please contact
both your sitter via text, as well as the office. We cannot guarantee availability for visits added after 8:00 AM, but we will do our best to accommodate you. For cancellations of visits after 8:00 AM, please contact both your sitter and the office. These cancellations will still be charged at the regular visit rate, as per our Late Cancellation policy.
If you're a recurring weekday client and need to add a visit outside of the 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM window, please follow the procedures listed in the Vacation Sits and Periodic Sits section.

- Existing clients - vacation sits and periodic sits
While the office manager will set up your initial sitting period with Kenosha Pet Sitter, we ask that you use Leashtime to schedule all other future visits. If we can limit the incoming scheduling to one source, it will allow us to provide the most consistent, reliable service possible.
After you submit your visits, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Please double-check the schedule for accuracy, and contact us if anything is incorrect. This email confirms that we have received your request and that your dates and visits will be on our sitting schedule. Upon receipt of this confirmation email, all scheduled sits are considered “booked,” and are subject to our cancellation policy. If there is an issue with sitter availability for the date and time you requested, we will contact you. If you do not receive a confirmation email from Leashtime or an email from our office within 24 hours, please contact us via email or by phone. Please DO NOT assume that we have your pet sitting request until you receive your confirmation email.
If any changes need to be made after the initial booking, you may do so via Leashtime up to 48 hours prior to the first visit. If changes need to be made within 48 hours of the first visit, please contact our office to make sure your changes can be accommodated before submitting on Leashtime. Once the changes are made, you will receive another confirmation email.
If you encounter flight or other return delays and need to add visits, please communicate that with both the sitter and the office as soon as possible so that we can adjust our schedule to continue caring for your pets until you return.
You may log in to Leashtime.com with your username and password at any time. You will be able to check any upcoming schedules by selecting the date range you're looking for. Clients should also log in to Leashtime and make changes anytime there are adjustments to their pets’ feeding, medication schedule, or general routine. We will always get an official notification when these changes are made, and both our office and your sitter will be made aware of these changes.
